Hyvee Barlow Bakery in Rochester, Minnesota made the perfect wedding cake for our reception. They were very willing to make any cake for us, even those with very complex designs. They listened to our requests for flavors and frostings. They even gave us three 1/4 sheet cakes for sampling. No little slices to sample here! We got whole cakes! Denny, the head baker, did an amazing job following through with the design we picked and baking and decorating the cake. It was delivered to the venue on time and looked perfect. It tasted delicious too. Our guests loved the chocolate cake with whipped orange buttercream filling and chocolate ganache frosting. I can't wait to eat the last slice on our 1 year anniversary.

We bought our bridesmaid dresses and rented our tuxedos through Jenni's Bridal. It was a welcomed relief to find Jenni's Bridal after having a bad experience at a different bridal shop in my town. The consultants at Jenni's were friendly and made me excited about being a bride. They were very helpful and accommodating - they pulled out all of the swatch books for the dresses and tuxedos I was interested in. They even told me about all of the fabric options for the bridesmaid dresses that I liked; this ultimately saved my bridesmaids money in the end because I was able to have the dresses ordered in a different material for about $40 less. They were easy to communicate with, helped us stay on top of the deadlines for deposits, and had the best prices in town. I was very impressed with the quality of the bridesmaid dresses and tuxedos for the price we paid! Go check them out! You won't regret it! The only thing I regret is that I didn't buy my bridal gown from them.
