From the moment we made an appointment to walk through the mansion to the moment we said our goodbyes we were in love. They not only provided us with the beautiful historical mansion, but they provided us with classy, professional, friendly staff members who were there to work with us on every detail. I emailed Bridget in sales for any questions I had on anything from the seating to the groom's cake. On the day of Eileen and Dee were there for us with anything we needed. I was amazed by the beauty of our wedding cake and the detail of my husband's Pittsburgh Steelers cake, both made at Glen Foerd by Conroy Catering. At Glen Foerd there is no extra decorations needed, it speaks for itself as it sits right on the Delaware river. I would recommend anyone in the Philadelphia area who is looking for a unique, classy, beautiful venue to put Glen Foerd in your top 5 to visit and really consider having your wedding there! 5 hours, chairs, tables, silver, glassware, votive candles (which were unexpected!), salad or soup, dinner (sit down or buffet), hor dourves, cake, dessert table, coffee, open bar, linens, and even table numbers! We booked in 2008 for our 2010 wedding so the prices and items may have changed, but def stop by or give them a call it's worth it! You can also have your ceremony there with an option of indoors or outdoors. We had our ceremony in their beautiful Conservatory room that has great windows looking out on the river. It was a dream come true and more!
