Weddingbee boards

I cannot say enough good things about David, Kimi and April of Ohana Photography. They are professional, fun and some of the nicest people I've ever met. I was so excited to book them for my wedding Aug '09 and even more excited when I got the images back from our engagement shoot and wedding. My husband is not comfortable in front of the camera and they made him feel at ease and got a lot of really great shots :) They are the best!

The Bernardo Winery is a lovely venue with a lot of charm, I honestly couldn't have imagined our wedding at another location. My husband grew-up in the area and we'd visited the winery several times. We love their wine and the country feel of the Winery. I will say that dealing with the event coordinator was a chore and I almost didn't book this venue because she never returned my calls or emails in a timely matter. We're talking weeks. When we went to meet with her for our last meeting before the wedding day, she was over an hour late and unapologetic. She had forgotten many of the things we had discussed before, things I had written her emails about so she would have in writing. There was also another wedding that day and she wasn't helping them. The day of the wedding they forgot the chairs I'd asked for several times and I found out later never chilled the beer. They were serving my guest warm beer for the majority of the evening. I understand that the summer I had my wedding there was a death in the family that owns and runs the winery. If I understand correctly, their Grandson is now running the winery and is making several changes. I hope those changes involve more attention to their couples and better organization because this really is a lovely venue.
