Invite site (www.invitesite.com) has beautiful/affordable/green invites that you purchase in packs and then print at home. We did 50 invites for just over $100. Also check out their save-the-date options as these are cheaper but could still be enough room for the invite wording. Also, to save money we purchased the matching cardstock instead of the RSVP set and made our own RSVP postcards ($0.35 for 4 compared to $.50 each). Invitesite had great customer service and delivery was super fast! I highly recommend them! PM me if you have any extra questions. Good luck! I'm sure whatever you choose will be wonderful!

Hey! I wanted something similar - not too pricey, semi-easy to DIY, and fun! They ended up only costing me $34 Canadian and are sooooo *us*! Here's what I did:

I found blank invites at Michaels (clearance I believe): 100 ivory 5x7 plain sheets (half the size of a sheet of paper) with 100 ivory envelopes for $12. I used a corner cutter to round the edges, which automatically made them look nicer.

Next I printed the invites on our printer at home (just the words), using the fabulous "Free Script" font. I used lily flower stamps in blue and black to add 2 overlapping flowers to the upper right and lower left hand corners. No "inner" envelope. Then I just included 2 extra sheets of paper telling guests the driving directions/city map on one, and the hotel info/wedding website for RSVP on the other. These I did in MS Word and printed on plain blue paper on my printer at home (4 per sheet, so each insert was 1/4 the size of a sheet of paper and double-sided).

The invite wording (all centred on the page) was:

****
Come celebrate with us!

(my name) and (his name) are getting hitched
On Saturday October 11, 2008
At 3 o'clock in the afternoon

Join in the festivities at (venue)
(venue address)

Adult Reception with Cocktail Hour, Dinner
& Dancing to immediately follow
****

To add a bit of pizazz, I found a great stamp at Michaels to use on the envelopes. And since I'm crazy, I hand-wrote all the envelopes (guest address & return address) - I have nice writing and I'm a bit old-fashioned about that!

One word of caution: I had never stamped before. This took a while, since I had to let the invites dry and I could only fit 25 laying down on our dining room table! I also had to veto about 15 because of smudges. But I think if I'd used more expensive ink, it wouldn't have been as much of an issue.

I'm not sure how to attach pictures on here. Personal Message me if you'd like to see pictures of the invites/inserts.

Best of luck!

Hello!

My wedding is off and I need to sell my size 4 wedding dress. It is unaltered and unworn, and has been cleaned and bead-checked twice. It is BRAND NEW!!!

I'm selling it for $299 which is more than $80 off the retail price+tax.

Beautiful beading detail on top of bodice and train, with a very flattering cinched belt at the waist... also a very flattering slight A-line shape.

Pictures are here:http://dormliving101.blogspot.com/2008/06/june-9th.html
