I went to Catan's today and found my dress!!&nbsp; Thanks for your suggestions--it was a big help.&nbsp; If anyone else is planning to go to Catan's, I highly recommend Belinda.&nbsp; She was incredibly helpful and patient, and just a lot of fun to work with.&nbsp; She did a great job of taking&nbsp;my input about likes and dislikes&nbsp;and adding her expertise to help me find the&nbsp;perfect dress.&nbsp; She ended up recommending a style that I didn't think I could pull off, and I loved it!&nbsp; </p> <p>@Kristen25: Catan's had a Maggie section...I'm terrible at estimating, but it was probably 20 gowns?&nbsp;They'll check to see&nbsp;if they have a particular gown if you call them.&nbsp; I was planning to also check out Expressions Bridal in Mentor which carries Maggie.&nbsp; They don't take appointments, so you can stop in anytime and look.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; </p> http://boards.weddingbee.com/topic/cleveland-wedding-dress-shopping#post-89777 Thu, 09 Oct 2008 19:17:22 +0000 Kristin25 89777@http://boards.weddingbee.com/ <p>I also need some advise regarding dresses....I really want a Maggie Dress....and have picked out quite a few that I would like to try on.</p> <p>Does anyone know of a bridal salon that has a very wide variety of Maggie dresses or recommendations of how to find out if they carry the one I would like to try on?</p> <p>Also, flipflop...what is Running of the Brides and where is it? While I didn't end up getting my dress there, I had a fabulous experience. The staff is knowledgable, warm, welcoming and accomodating. I especially liked that they weren't afraid to offer their opinions. When you're not used to seeing yourself in a wedding dress, hearing that every one looks "pretty" or "nice" isn't very helpful. I went to the one in Columbus last February and found the perfect dress for $250.
