I ordered my headpiece and garter this weekend, courtesy of Etsy!

The garter is from AtelierRousseau

And the head piece is from TeekiByAmyOram

Both shops were very nice and easy to work with--I ordered my garter, added on a secondary toss garter for an extra 5 GBP and she has already shipped it! The head piece takes longer to make, but I cannot wait to get them!!! I'm just too excited. 110 days!

Hi Bees

I need a litte help deciding if I should buy a necklace to go with my dress or not. I was thinking pearls. Here is my dress. What do you think??

Hi ladies!

I'm a frequent stalker of the boads, but I've never posted until now. I desperately need the help of someone with more accessorizing knowledge than I have.

This is my gown (but in ivory):

Here is a close up of the detail beading/embroidery (sorry it's tiny):

Basically it's silver embroidery with beading and swarovski crystals.

So now I'm in the predicament of how to accessorize! Help please! My girls are wearing eggplant gowns with halter necks, so I'm gifting them a cluster of ivory pearl bracelets and drop earrings (with some sparkle in there).

But for me i'm completely stuck. Also, I don't know if I'm wearing a veil... or how I'm doing my hair... I have shoulder length auburn hair, and I am in love with fascinators, but I don't know that one would really work with this dress. I figure I need a pretty sparkly hair comb or something.

I'm a mess and my wedding is creeping up, so any help is greatly appreciated!!

Hey Bees!!! I bought my David's Bridal T9612(Ivory&Champagne) dress last year and was never told it had a matching VEIL!! I purchased my dress from a bee for half price !! (new/with tags)

I didn't think I wanted a veil and thought I could make one, NOT!! It's a very simple lace and I couldn't come close to matching it and nice lace is pricey $$$.

My Mom happened to stop at DB to look one more time at Veil # VCRL538, which is a perfect color match but alot fancier lace than my dress.(and $200) A sales clerk just happened to say"I don't think we have the matching veil any more and it's not orderable." Mom was like "What veil??" It's VT9612 by the way.

So she got the clerk to look it up ( LOVE MY MOM!) and found out some stores still had it!! Well Mom made a bunch of calls to DB stores and found one at a store near where I'm living!! Well for $150 including tax, I snached it up!! You really would have to call the stores cause the don't always have what the computer says!!!

NEVER GIVE UP BEES!!!

My dress finally came in yesterday and I went to try it on. I love it even more than the first time I did. Right now I wish I could wear it everywhere: to bed, out for sushi, to work, to the moon, to the club, you name it.

Now that I have it I need to start making jewelry and veil choices. As far as the veil I am 75% sure I am going with fingerlength with a blusher for volume and no edging (so that I can really go for bling with my jewelry), but I am open to other suggestions.

I have attached some pictures of me in the dress for reference. It is a gorgeous Watters Austin gown, no beading or crystals.. flowy and a bit of a train in the back. As I said before I am not afraid of major bling :) because the dress is so simple. But I am trying to stay away from anything that is too modern or funky just because my wedding themes overall are kind of a more classic look.

I really have it in my head that I want to do some bright coral bold earrings with my wedding dress, but I've been getting a lot of mixed reviews on that. What do y'all think? (I'm not wearing a veil, just short wavy hair)

And here are the bold earrings I'm considering

And the classic earrings:

OK so this is random but I honestly don't care much for jewelry. I wear the same couple pairs of earrings and my e-ring (which is 1/3 carat diamond round solitaire) and my promise ring on my other hand but that's it. I don't know what it is but FI says he's lucky because it's easier on his wallet since I dont care much for it. Anyone else like this??? I mean I think jewelry is pretty but I really can't be bothered to wear a lot of it.

Is it wierd to wear it? I also have her veil. I was thinking of using some of the fabric from the veil to wrap my bouquet. Does that count as my something old?

I really don't want to take off my veil for the reception. But it's cathedral length. Super long.

My dress is relatively bling-free so I've been looking around for jewelry to accessorize it with and just recieved earrings and a necklace that I ordered off etsy. I LOVE the necklace but have mixed feelings about the earrings. What do you all think? Other options are more dangly earrings or single pearls. Or something else entirely. My hair will be up in a low updo.
