Any other 08/21/2010 brides (or grooms) out there? We just set our date last week. If I didn't feel so weird making it all about me and our wedding, I'd go scream it out loud to anyone who would listen! It's far away, but it gives me plenty of time to make our own invitations and those gosh darn cute diy tri-fold invitations!

I realized this a couple of months ago, but I still think it's awesome and it's almost here. I didn't choose August 14th because V-Day is exactly 6 months from it, but if I would have realized it then it definitely would have solidified the choice!

I've always been a big Valentine's Day girl. Anyone have special plans?

I actually have a soccer game at 7! So we're gonna do something casual.

Congrats on 6 months!

I was wondering when a good ceremony start time would be for an outdoor weddiing in August. My FI and I are going back and forth with this becuase we worry that it will be too hot if we start around 4:30 or 5. Then I have second thoughts about starting the ceramony later, 6-630ish because we only have our venue until 11 (everything has to be cleaned up and gone by then, guests will probably be leaving around 10-1030).

So, is the hot weather enough of a reason to start the wedding later, although it cuts into the reception time?

Also if there are other Aug. outdoor wedding brides, please let me know what you have decided on.

Anyone use Dryday.com? I just discovered it tonight...don't know how accurate it is. Has anyone checked the weather for august 14 (NJ)? Having an outdoor wedding so I'm kind of freaking out:(!

OK. So I just came to the harsh realization that our DW is 13 weeks away and I'm completely slacking on working out. I quit smoking so I could start running again, but I think I ran like 2x after that. I need to stop screwing around and get down to it. I eat pretty healthy but I sit at a desk all day. I bought my Jillian Michael's 30 day shred like 2 mos. ago and only did it twice. I need to get to it so I can look good in my dress not to mention on our honeymoon. Sooooooooo anyone else working out? What are your goals? How are you doing on them?

So it's been little over a month since our wedding on August 20, and I had planned on sending out thank you cards between 4-6 weeks after the wedding. This means I still got some time left of that time period, which is good as I still gotte pick out the photo, get it printed and DIY the cards from scratch lol, but now I am wondering/worried about whether I should have send them out sooner after the wedding?

When did you get married and when did you send out your thank-yous? :)
