Steampunk Angel on "Centrepieces"

I need ideas....I never thought I would have trouble with this but I am! T.T

My wedding is a steampunk/victorian themed one, and the reception is going to be decorated appropriately, with the flavor of teatime. So we found these really cool teapots that are made of glass, and these tea balls that bloom as they brew: http://www.teavana.com/the-teas/blooming-teas?cm_sp=TheTeas-_-Main-_-Sale I love it!!!

But I'm not sure what else. I was thinking maybe a cast iron elegant looking candle holder with a flat part in the middle to rest the teapot on, that way I could have beautiful candles around to play some light onto the blooming tea, but I don't know how I'd make it work. I know I care more about candles than flowers for the centrepiece lol trying to keep the floral bill down!

Anyone have any ideas?

Hi! I just fell in love with sky lanterns! They're from Asia... I forget where. And they're featured inthe Disney rapunzel movie, Twisted. They're also called wish lanterns, and wedding lanterns. Anyway I was thinking of getting them for my wedding night "send off" I would probably get 40 or so, and I think they would look so cool!

Has anyone seen this in real life, or used them?

Thanks!

Hi Bee's! I posted before about finding my venue a few weeks ago and I'm needed help on picking colors! I'm really looking for a vintage look and I've put together two styleboards on what I'm looking for. I just can't decide if I should have more bright colors or a more muted palette. I love them both and maybe I can mesh both together somehow? Which do you like better ladies? * Both already include a picture of my actual dress as well*

First, my venue:

Hi Bees,

I was wondering if any of you know which type of parasols are most durable? I have not seen them or felt them in person to compare, so I was wondering which ones might be best to buy for my guests as my wedding is an outdoor one.

Thanks!

Ok, so I am having my wedding in a province away and at my future MIL's senior building. I had a wonderful chair decoration idea ( a DIY) But after seeing these chairs they just would not look right :( I'm having a BBQ fall theme, it's a relaxed wedding. Do you have any ideas?

So I looked into local vendors and the cheepest I've found to rent are 15 per table. I have found linens to purchase at 10 per table. I am debating between the two or just using the stock linens at the country club. Since they've just started doing weddings they dont have anything floor length.

What do you guys think would having non-floor length linens take away from the "wedding look"

Has anyone been to a wedding that didn't have floor length linens? What did you think?
