I am thinking about getting married on January 1st, 2010. Will having a new years day wedding affect availability of vendors and such? I already talked to a florist and she said they are usually closed on that date? Is anyone else thinking of a new years day wedding?

Thanks

Okay I need advice

I am planning a New Years Day Wedding (Jan 1, 2009).

I am only 22 and I want the celebration to be fun and exciting. I am thinking a black and white wedding (with some accent color) will be fabulous and I would have the ceremony and reception in the same place (www.rigsbeehall.com)

Have any ideas of how to pull this off on a VERY low budget?

Also, what do you think about having the reception (new years eve party) before the actual ceremony. That way, I bring in the new year with friends and family, and then wake up the next day and get married. I know it's not tradtional but I wonder what you all think.

Thanks in advance.
