I've been having a terrible time sleeping too! It started about a week ago, so I really hope the adrenaline kicks in before Friday morning because I'm getting burned out quickly.

Why does everything take three times longer than it should to wrap up?

I bet most of you July Brides are already Married!! Well my wedding is just days away and I am so excited. After a year of planning I almost can't believe it is finally happening!!

I have been having a hard time falling asleep the past few nights and I know its only going to get worse in days up until the wedding. I feel like I have almost everything done.... just the last minute stuff to worry about. Making sure the guys pick up there tuxes - getting all the decor to the venue and setting it all up - hoping all the vendors show up.. on time - making sure the wedding party knows what the plan is for the wedding day. etc...

So, i guess a lot to do still, but hopefully I wont run into to many problems.

Good Luck to all of you!!

Aw that's a nice picture Piccateer! At first, I thought the designs on the cake were part of your dress. OOps But I'd sure love to have some of that cake right now!

Hey Hive!

We just got back from our Vegas honeymoon and it was amazing! Our wedding was beautiful, and surprisingly enough we had no major problems or catastrophes (though I managed to put his ring on his right hand instead of his left during the ceremony, but I chalk that up to nerves and such ) Anywho, I wish all of this weekends brides happy weddings! And believe everyone who tells you to take in as much as you can cause it goes by FAST...they aren't lying!!!

We're doing a 4:15 ceremony, so I'm planning on a small run to get out the jitters and then some wedding day yoga to calm the mind :)

Where are you going on your honeymoon, Vintage?

Less than four days, ladies! Yippee! The fiance just got his wedding haircut and will pick up the tuxes tomorrow!

My last-minute stuffs:

-Work out open bar details with reception site

-Practice DIY makeup and first dance (in The Shoes!)

-Pack for honeymoon (we leave Tuesday)

-Get the house and yard in order (none of the events take place here, but I'm a tad OCD and will enjoy the big day more in a clean house)

This evening I went to yoga for the first time in months. Thought it would be a good week to invest in serenity. Speaking of exercise, we have an 8 p.m. wedding and I really have quite a bit of time earlier in the day on Saturday, so I'm thinking I'll do my usual morning run and strength routine. It seems weird to work out on wedding day, but it's a stress release for me and would probably help my nerves. Anybody else have downtime due to a late ceremony? Hard to know how to fill the day, but I'm sure with family in town it will fill itself.

Good luck, all!
