First year was MORE than we could have imagined! I cant beleive it! We both cant beleive it really. It was SUCH a FAST year!!! I got a great job, we bought a house, keeping busy with voluntering.  One thing after another the time has FLOWN by! I hope everyone else can say they had a FANTASTIC year as well! Happy Anniversary all! ; )

With this being our one year anniversary month, I wanted to say happy anniversary to all of you and your significant others!  I hope your first years of marriage have been more than you could have hoped for!  Go out and celebrate!

Just now checking in, I'm so glad everyone else had such wonderful wedding memories! A few of my top warm-squishy moments: -Walking down the aisle. We have a pro photo looking down the aisle focused on his face, and of course that's exactly what I was focused on when I was walking, so it's exactly what I saw during that moment, and I can't look at this photo without tearing up. -Our whole ceremony. Our pastor gave an absolutely wonderful message, everything was beautiful, and my then-fiance kept mouthing "I love you" at me when our eyes would meet in between readings or whenever. (I wouldn't have been surprised if he'd gotten nervous and tried to make jokes at me, which would have been very "us," but I'm really glad he kept it serious for just a few minutes). -Dancing with my dog at the reception. I trained him to jump up and give me his front paws so we could do this. It was fantastic. -Our first dance. -The speeches. Our best man made us laugh, and my MOH (my sister) made me cry; they were completely perfect. -Every single person who was at the wedding spontaneously convening in a dance circle, everyone with their arms around each other, belting along with "Don't Stop Believin'" at the top of their lungs while my husband and I danced together in the middle. You just can't plan that stuff. -All of my college friends gathering for a group photo and spontaneously bursting out with a few choruses of our alma mater. -Collapsing into our vintage Rolls Royce at the end of the night and hugging each other, relaxing, and soaking it all in. I can't wait for our video; there are so many moments I want to relive. It's funny how in some ways it doesn't really feel like the wedding is completely over, since there's always one more thing left - whether it's waiting for pro photos to come back, or the video, or finishing thank-you notes, or unpacking gifts, or simply the fact that my dress is still hanging in the closet instead of posted for sale in the classifieds.

Hi Ladies! Congratulations to you all!  I hope you all had wonderful weddings!  I had more fun at our wedding than every other wedding I have ever been to!  It was Beautiful and so much FUN!  I don't know if I can pick one fav, so here are a couple of my favs: <ol> <li>The first look.  All day I was pretty calm on the outside, but on the inside I had so much anxity...not about getting married...just had a hard time letting go of all the planning.  But once I saw my groom I felt so much better! <img src="http://bios.weddingbee.com/pics/66780/th_di_es311.jpg" /></li> </ol>        2. The ceremony.  As soon as I sat down (yes, I got to sit) and looked around I        couldn't believe how beautiful everything was...and i was SO happy! <img src="http://bios.weddingbee.com/pics/66780/the_ceremony.jpg" />   We just got the pro pics back!  It has been so much fun to relive the memories and see al the details I missed the first time around!

Just wanted to stop in and wish all of my fellow July 2010 brides congratulations! I can't believe that it is now August 2010! Personally, it's felt like a relief to me to experience life post-wedding. I love looking back on our wedding day though! My favorite part was just sitting next to Mr. Turtle at dinner, and relaxing in the warmth of the love of our friends and family.  Their kind words, generosity, and genuine demonstrations of support meant so much to me that day! I will never forget it! Cheers to a great first year of marriage! :)  (And keep in touch!)
