Hi Ladies! I know that we're a ways out and some haven't started with too much planning, but I'm curious about your colors. Do you have an inspirational pic to go with it. I'll start. I chose berry colors. Think raspberry, blueberry, boysenberry, and plumberry. In regular colors: fuschia, and purple with hints of blue. I have been putting off dress shopping because I'm not happy with my weight.  I finally went today and it wasn't that bad and I found a few that I liked.  The lady at the place made it seem like I really need to hurry though.  I know it can take awhile to get a dress but is she exaggerating?

Just wondering if anyone was July 16th 2010 also. Always thought I'd be a June bride but that didn't work out though! But July worked out cheaper with some vendors. Worried about the heat, but whatever!!

Any other eager beavers like me out there? I have been engaged since March 2008, so have a loooooong engagement...we needed time to save!! LOL. The real reason tho is that my sister was supposed to be getting married this year and my parents requested not to have two weddings in one year. I can't wait for July 24, 2010!!!!!!!!!

Hello Hive! I am just wondering if anyone else out there is obsessively planning a July 2010 wedding.  My family thinks that I am crazy for already starting to nail things down, and I am starting to wonder if I really am losing my sanity.  Anyone else in the same boat?

It seems like there's a lot of us out there! Just that perfect place in the summer...enough time to get things done after school gets out, with time left over to take a honeymoon before school starts back up again. We're trying to get as much done this summer (my fiance is a teacher as well) as we can before school starts in the fall. Do you feel like your timeline is a little different because of the school calendar?

So we are getting married on July 4th!!! A lot of dates in both of our families are on Holidays and my fiance is in love with all things American. So at first I was thinking purple, but now I am wondering if a tastefully done red, white and blue theme would be cheesey or tacky. Right now I am thinking this. Blue dresses for the girls with white flowers (hydrangeas), Red vests and ties for the guys, and then blue flowers for myself. I want to keep it at about that, but I am trying to figure out if people think it is lame or a fun way to incorporate the holiday too!
