Hello My fellow June Brides!    When  are you sending out your invitations? The reason I ask: I'm having a sort of "destination" wedding as in the wedding will be held on my college campus and pretty much all but like 3 couples will be travelling to the town. We have to get the rooms reserved at least 6 weeks in advance. Does that mean I should send out my invites like 3 or 4 weeks earlier?  Any help would be appreciated!

So many of the wedding bloggers I've been reading for a while are now past the date of the actual wedding and have either stopped blogging or moved on to other things.  As I've recently started blogging the process of assembling my wedding for next June, I've been thinking it would be fun to connect with other wedding bloggers who are getting married in the same time frame.  I've found a couple of blogs from the big posts on the beehive board but thought I'd reach out for some specifically June brides to share this experience with--in a purely virtual sense, of course :) My blog, should you care to connect is at: <a href="http://frugalfaye.wordpress.com/" rel="nofollow">http://frugalfaye.wordpress.com/</a> It's pretty wordy and budget-oriented, just an advance warning.

Our STD's are being printed and soon will be winging there way to us. They will be on there way to our guest by the end of next month, which puts them just past the 8 months out mark. To that end I am getting the wedding website finalized and need to deal with the registry page. We are planning to register the main bulk of our list at 2 stores, and then at 2-3 other stores for just a hanfull of things we really want. I am not sure what to do. I am thinking register and the 2 large stores now and put them on the website. Then we can go back later and add the other small stores when we get under the 6 month mark. What do you think and what are you all planning to do?

We are getting our STDs ordered from our photographer and sending them... which also means I will be organizing/collecting addresses!  We're also looking into doing an engagement annoucement in the paper now that we have engagement pics.  I also want to start on the programs... although I don't think that's going to happen :) What are you guys doing this month?

Okay so this is really late but  Oh my goodness can you believe that it is a little under a year now!!  I can hardly wait and I just wanted to see if anyone else was (like no one else is).  Plus I am crazy and plan so much ahead and sometimes i swear that I am the only one here that cannot wait.  But then again who is as excited as the bride!

I hope we're not crazy to do this! I just am very excited to get married at my parents' home - its something I have always dreamed of. So our ceremony will be in the front yard and our reception will be under a tent with fans. It's a morning wedding so I'm hoping it won't get too hot, if it is a hot day, until toward the end of our reception. Anyone else being brave and going all outdoors?

Are there any brides out there getting married outdoors? My FI and I are having our ceremony on the beach in Southern California on 06/12/2010 at sunset. Does anyone know of any good websites I could check to see what the weather was like in prior years?

Uggh, its actually almost half way through October!!  Today, I am meeting with the photographer that we will most likely hire for the wedding.  I have to hire the DJ.  Get a contract with the woman who is managing the bar and playing the piano for the wedding procession (I love multi-taskers).  We are going to book our pre-honeymoon (we can't go on our official honeymoon to Italy right after the wedding because we will still be in school when we get married instead we are going to Quebec for a few days).  I also need to start some of the DIY projects I have listed.  I think I will start the table runners which means I need a serious refreshing course on how to sew.  Lastly and most fun of all, I am making our STDs.  What do you, fellow JuneBees, have to do this month?
