Four months to go, ladies! I can't believe it.  Life has been incredibly busy lately, and I'm a bit behind on the wedding prep.  Still haven't ordered the invitations (!!), arranged for a florist or the musicians.  Yikes.  I need to get moving. How's everyone else enjoying the planning process?  Are you up to speed?  Good luck!

Since March is riiight on that brink between winter and spring, what are you going with? Wintery or springy? Or a theme? I'll start! The colors are sky blue and soft yellow (one of my favorite combos). I'm a huge Disney/Alice in Wonderland fan, so I'm bringing in a lot of that retro Disneyland look, as well as ties to Alice (the flower girl in an Alice dress, teapots on the tables, etc.) What about you?

Wow, I just noticed there are at least 2 other March 13, 2010 brides! Woohoo! Do you have a wedding timeline that you are going by? I kinda of made one up which you could view <a href="http://springweddingbliss.wordpress.com/2009/05/31/i-suddenly-realized/">here</a>. I hope this is realistic enough!

Our wedding is the 13th of march and SO's family is irish. We are already doing ceterpieces that are plants so they double as favors. I was going to do herbs, but thought I would also do some clover as st. patrick's day is a few days after the wedding.

I can't believe it! We only have 4 months left!! Here's my to do list: 1) Talk to our WP about what we can cut out of the budget (our estimate was double!!) 2) Talk to our floral planner about cutting the budget (won't pay $260 for a white aisle runner!) 3)Book new photographer (we have two in mind) 4) Buy wedding rings 5) Save up for honeymoon and rehearsal dinner 6) Get songs together for reception (using IPOD) 7) Finish invites (probably should be higher on the list!) 8) Get in shape and get the dress altered, lol 9)Get suits for the boys (Groom, Best Man and Officiant, my brother) 10) Get shoes 11) Figure out how to do my hair 12) Buy gifts for parents and bridal party I think that's it...WHEW there is a lot to do!!

What time do you think is a good time in March to start a ceremony. I do not want it to be dark for one and I do not want it to be too cool either. Our wedding is MArch 13, 2010 which is before daylight savings times so it will still get dark earlier. We were thinking around 4 or 4:30 pm.

I can't believe it's going so fast... not long ago it felt like it was going by painfully slow! We are trying food out this afternoon. Got the dj set up this week. Now I just need to get the cake and flowers! I am starting to think I need to get moving on some of my diy projects as I have a feeling the holidays are going to slow me down just a tad. How are you guys doing? Anything new and exciting?

Hi fellow March brides.  Anyone else having an issue with concentration at work?  I swear, the wedding is still 5 months away and all I can think about is wedding stuff!  Every day I'm lurking on Weddingbee, ordering things from Etsy, updating the registry, looking at wedding pic blogs for inspiration, etc.  I experienced a lull at the 10 month mark after we had everything important booked, but wedding fever is back again!  Can anyone else relate?
