I love the Kittle House but my mom thinks our guests will feel too crowded in that room. We're moving forward with Kittle House because it's much more affordable than our other options but I am trying really hard to get my guest list down so it doesn't feel cramped. We can have our after party their because they have a full bar with bartenders until 2 or 3 a.m. every weekend. That was our main reason for booking there. Also, they gave us the best rate and their sales contact person who is working with us was extremely helpful and friendly. We basically visited every hotel in that area on Route 9. The Ramada is the only one that will have a decent sized bar open after our wedding. Our first choice was the Mariott, but they didn't have enough room for us and the bar setting/ after party at the Ramada is better. It was also important for us to offer a group rate for our guests that was lower than $125. Some of the hotels on Route 9 did not have good group rates. However, if you're looking at other hotels in the Route 9 cluster, there is a Ruby Tuesdays next to the Hilton and Marriott. They had a decent sized bar area as well. I hope this helps. The main dining area was very spacious from what I remember - the room seemed to never end when I nervously gave my MOH speech. Hah. There was a good sized dance floor right off the dining area that only felt cramped during the cake cutting/bouquet/garter toss.
