Recently through the boards, I found out about signing the wedding registry/license (sorry not totally sure of the proper wording) which is somethine that we don't do in the US. Mr C has very little practical wedding knowlege - the most recent was his sister's destination wedding, so he didn't think to tell me about it. It's fine, but I don't want to either omit something that's expected or find out from the officiant, coordinator, etc at the last minute. We got engaged in November, 2010 and our wedding date was set for our 5th year anniversary on September 3rd, 2011.</p> <p>I noticed that my budget and guest count was considered the average, so I thought that I'd share my experiences and hopefully save a bunch of time for other Ottawa brides-to-be! </p> <p>I looked at a ton of places and found that it could be a challenge to get concrete info, so here a quick review of some of the venues I looked into. Some have lots of info, some don't.:</p> <p>CHATEAU LAURIER<br /> Star rating (out of 5): ****<br /> Price range: High</p> <p>The Chateau Laurier has 2 large rooms and a couple of smaller ones.
