If a woman receives flowers from her SO, she takes a photo and uploads it on facebook for everyone to see. Is there anything right or wrong about this? I just saw my friend complain on the news feed about seeing everyone uploading the flowers they have received.

After reading many of the posts on here...I can see that I am not the only one that is sick of waiting! I am really getting to the point of extreme irritation with this. I almost lost it when I came home from work today and signed on Facebook and saw two more statuses that said "OMG IM ENGAGED!!!". Really? REALLY? I feel bad because I dont know if I am being irrational with the way I am thinking...but I cant help it! What do you guys do when you feel like you just cant take it anymore?! I need to find a way to make myself not think about it...I realized this today because after I saw the posts on Facebook, he kept asking me "whats wrong?" and "is something bothering you...what happened??" I so badly wanted to say something to him about it but I feel like I am going to be getting on his nerves about it and that is the last thing I want to do!

HELP!!!! Suggestions please???

I am having my bridesmaids pick out their own dresses for my wedding. I am having 5 bridesmaids, 2 of which will be matrons of honor. I am purchasing the 2 dresses that my matrons of honor choose. However, I would like them to choose from more expensive designers than I would ask my other 3 bridesmaids to pay for. So... I am thinking of having my 2 matrons of honor wearing one brand of dress in eggplant and then having my other 3 bridesmaids wear an accent color in a different brand. The groomsmen will be in gray suits. Which dress color do you think would go best with the gray suits and eggplant dresses?

This is not the brand, but an example of a dark purple/eggplant:

Option 1: Try to find a complementary deep magenta:

Option 2) A dark slate that will be darker than the gray suits

Option 3) A deep teal:

Hi Bees!! So, Ive been looking at dresses for the past 2 months and, still not even close, le sigh... this is what I have founded so far... I dont have pictures of all the dresses i have tried on sadly... but... here are a few...

Let me just say that I was so excited to try on the vera White by Vera Wang dresses but I dont know.. I think they are not totally for me, Im looking for a more sparkle free, A-line, classic, elegant look... maybe some lace (but NOT beaded lace)

Ok here goes... feel free to coment and give me some direction.. haha...

#1

#2

#3

God no...

#4

I think this dress swallowed me hole..

I tried the VW351029 and it was too much in the skirt for me... and the VW351020 that was.. ok, but my mom and I forgot to take a picture of it :S

Still, going for another round at the end of february... I really want to try on the Enzoani, Alma Novia and Rosa Clara dresses... they are totally my style.

Thanks!!!!

So, this weekend, I decided I was finally going to clean our closet. I look up at the the top shelf on "his side" and think "wow, there's just a shoebox up there. I could totally put one of these big boxes of summer things up there!" I probably shouldn't have looked in the box, but I seriously just thought it was a pair of his shoes, or unimportant odds and ends. So I open it. Business cards, wires, random paperwork... so I figure I'll just ask him later where he wants to put this stuff. And then I see it. A ring box. I had a feeling that he'd bought one already, but I didn't have proof until that moment. I actually asked myself outloud, "do I really want to look?........" And then finally I said "..........yes. Yes I do." And I looked. And let me tell you, it's so freaking pretty. I couldn't imagine a prettier ring (I'll wait to share details for when I actually have it on my finger). He must have gotten help from one of my friends, because it's exactly what I would pick out.

I had to check again this morning after he went to work, to be sure that it wasn't a dream.

Obviously, I'm never ever going to tell him that I found it. I'll just casually ask him if I can put stuff on that shelf so he can rehid it. But it's weird, I sort of thought finding the ring would make me more anxious, but instead I'm just feeling very calm about the whole thing... although I'm sure I'll feel differently when few months have passed without a proposal :)

I just had to tell SOMEBODY!!

Hi ladies,

I need your advice. The only song we've ever considered "our" song is "Good Morning Beautiful" (by Steve Holy). We love it and it's easy to slow dance to, but we're not sure if the lyrics are too weird for a first dance.

Opinions? We're really struggling to find another one that has meaning for us and is dance-able.

I just need a place to vent, so I figured, what better place than the hive?!?! So yesterday was my 25th birthday , and my dad came to town to take me to lunch. Yummy. Him and my mom live about 30 minutes away, so I don't see them as often as I'd like, but yeah. So I asked my dad if my mom was coming, he said he'd ask her. Little background. My mother is probably the laziest person anyone could come in contact with. She literally sits in her chair all day and watches her soaps. I can't even get her to go look at dresses with me. GRR! Anywho, when I called and asked her to come myself, her response was "Oh, you want me there?" No mom, I asked for my own good?!?! So yesterday comes and it's time for lunch. I walk in to Golden Corral (YUMMY!) and there is my dad. No mom. I said "I take it mom didn't want to come." He said "Oh you know your mom, it's cold and she can't miss her soaps!" So at this point, I'm like, eh whatever! When lunch is over, I call my memaw to vent. She says "Oh yeah, I just got off the phone with her. I had to chew her out because she told me she didn't come because on Kelly's (my dad) birthday (which was in November), you didn't let M (my DD) come over and help make a cake." SERIOUSLY!!!!! My DD was sick that day mind you! So I told my dad, I don't want her coming over, but your more than welcome coming over and spending some time with her. I cannot believe how freaking childish and immature my mother is!!!!! This is NOT the first dumb excuse/thing my mom has said or done. She wouldn't come to my DD 4th birthday because it was in our hometown. I'm so over her it's nuts! Sorry so long, I just needed to get it off my chest!
