Yep, I'm in the 2 month jog now and next month will be a sprint. Thankfully summers are fairly slow for me at my job. I'll  be using August to: <ul> <li>find and buy my bridal jewelry/ accesories</li> <li>decide on a hair-do</li> <li>find another couple pairs of shoes (flats and perhaps some ivory ones- I have purple for now!)</li> <li>get fitted and dress cleaned (I bought a sample dress)</li> <li>have jr. bridesmaids and flower girl dresses made</li> <li>finalize and create ceremony programs</li> <li>choreograph a reception dance- fun fun fun!</li> <li>put together boxes for favors</li> <li>finish designing and creating my unique place-cards and background</li> <li>finalize things with the florist</li> <li>sign contract with videographer (waited for the last minute)</li> <li>find jewelry for bridal party</li> <li>get out all the "must play" songs to the DJ</li> <li>choose all the necessary songs</li> <li>choose a musician for the ceremony</li> <li>Get people moving with the RSVP's (some people are slackers! I don't care if it's early- I need to make a seating chart!)</li> <li>and I'm sure a million other things.</li> </ul> man I'm getting a bit overwhelmed just thinking about it. What do you all have left to do?

I just wanted to send out good vibes and happy thoughts to all the other 9/12/09 brides out there.  I hope tomorrow is wonderful for each and everyone of us!   Just home from a fabulous rehearsal dinner and can't wait for tomorrow!

I was wondering what everyone was doing for colors... I had a hard time trying to find something that wasn't too Springy.I knew I wanted Yellow but we recently decided the second would be aqua (or little blue). Here is my inspiration board I pulled together to make sure everything worked.

Oh, drawing closer (if it weren't for this flu cough-cough) things I have left Finalize seating plan (one more left who didnt rsvp aarrgh!!!I gave her 2 reminders) check with my hotel see how many credenzas I have to decorate talk to my DJ about the final plan pick up marriage license once fiance arrives do pre-cana meet with priest  submit documents rehearsal rehearsal dinner and give out gifts hang out one last time with all my girlfriends pick up my dress and remind seamstress to make little sleeves  talk to shuttle guy 9/14 to see if I can get a discount since another bride here signed up talk to my hair stylist see what time he wants to meet, he's  a friendor so I cant be picky about time buy wine bottles for my friendors who are giving me free services just 2 more find a gift for my friend/DOC who will help me pick up keys to apartment for family floral arrangements cook for family so I can save money--tehre's 15 of us, but we're all cowboy; I cant afford to take them out that will be a  cool $700 everytime we go out; we'll probably pay for   your own when we go around manhattan wedding's aint cheap, too costly to host every single meal for all 14 of them pack for honeymoon gather paperwork needed, confirmations at hotel etc prepare fees I'll be paying vendors talkign to video, photographer, singers one last time wow feels like I'm missing something---feels overwhelming now that I listed everyhting in one whole list; my calendar looks more managable on my notebook calendar   good luck to me
