It'll show up. I'm making book inspired invites right now, and just the other day I printed with gold metallic ink on a dark olive green paper, and it looks great!

Question about Gocco ink ladies! I am helping a friend with a wedding project - she wants to print cocktail napkins with facts about her and her husband-to-be (I did it at my wedding and got the idea from Mrs. Creampuff). I printed dark ink on light colored napkins, but she is looking at dark colored napkins.

Do you think the metallic gocco ink will show up on the dark napkins? There is a gold metallic and I'm wondering if it will show up on dark purple napkins?

Has anyone had any experience (or failure) with this? Any help is appreciated. I hate to order the ink if it won't work. If not, perhaps she will consider lighter colored napkins, but I know she wants the dark if possible.

Thanks!!

So bees..

The day has come that I have procrastinated about/slightly feared and looked forward to all at once.. There must be something else that I need, I won't be able to start this today.. Hmm inks? Got em.. Paper? Got it.. Oh wait I need some sort of image.. Yikes, I have that too.. Looks like my days of putting this project on the back burner are over..

All of the inspirational pictures and creations from the brave to-be brides before me have motivated me to start a print project of my own.. It just seems that watching the tutorials seems so much easier than actually doing it on my own.. I am crafty, how hard can it be, right? These plain little glassine candy bags really need some dressing up.. And the Gocco is just the thing it needs! I'll post pics when I'm done.. Now where do i start....
