So we went for the tasting last night. I was in total LALA Land because I am SOO in love with Chateau!!! We ate and the food was good, my FH actually liked Coral House food better but it was good. We toured the venue again, spoke to vendors and then wanted to cry. The vendors were so much more $$ than the quote we got for Coral and the guy also wouldn't budge on the price per person for the wedding. I left sooooo disappointed and sad. Luckily, yes LUCKILY lol I had awful heart burn all night and still do which I'm taking as a sign to get over the place because I don't want heart burn my wedding night!! But reallly.... sooooo let down and sad. This place was EVERYTHING I wnted in terms of looks. :( I'm so over looking..

She travels to anywhere in the NJ/PA/NY area and is priced fairly. I'd say give the site a lookover. I have had the services on me and felt the most beautiful I ever had in my life that day (it was an Indian wedding, full of COLOR!). We plan on using them for our wedding next year. My sister used SB for editorial work and the proofs were wonderful. Great work, and like I said lower prices than the rest in NJ.

We did a mini-moon to the Balsams in Northern New Hampshire. It was fantastic and a perfect way to spend a week after the wedding. It is sort of pricey, but it includes all of your food. There is mountain biking, tennis, golf, hiking, swimming all on the property and then you are in the white mountains which is an outdoor paradise. Message me if you want more info!

I went to a wedding at Chateu La Mer in October, and I live only about 2 minutes from there. I thought the food was delicious, but maybe since I'm so local, I feel like it's better suited for sweet 16's, bat/bar mitzvahs, etc. I thought it was very over the top in terms of gaudy-ness, but that's just not my style. I also didn't like that everytime I went to the bathroom, there were a bunch of 16 yr olds in there from the sweet 16 party in the next room. I prefer venues where they only have 1 party at a time.

Wow you happen to mention two places I've actually been too! I didn't like eitherof them!!! LOL. But if I had to pick, I'd choose Coral House. Hope you don't think I'm picky but maybe I am. What I didn't like about the Mer was the room we were in (upstairs) had a tacky tile ceiling which had waterstains. Eww. I thought that was pretty ugly. Maybe the downstairs room is better. They looked like they were treating the wedding downstairs better than they were treating us upstairs.

I usually don't write posts, but I JUST HAD to for this, I found the MOST amazing trainer, well she's more than a trainer, she hosts an online fitness show but she;s based out of NYC. I took her botocamp lst summer and not only did I lose 15lbs in a month, my body transformed (I didn't think I was capable of being so slim, lean and toned)!

I've never worked out with this style in my life and the best part, no expensive gym membership or equipment. This summer I'm going back. Just check out her channel and you can get an idea of her workout style.

It's not just the class, she teaches you how to work out more efficiently and gives you 'homework' for the other days of the week, so you can do workouts on your own time too!

Changed my life, it will change yours too i think....her site is www.amandarussell.tv or http://amanda-russell.com/

We are a military family relocating to the northeast in May. Because we are visiting family during that time, we will be holding our 20th wedding anniversary vow renewal / Family Reunion together. We do not need anything elegant, we are simple family with a small budget. We're only looking at 30 people attending, including my husband and our three children, and yet some of these venues want $1500 just for the rental. I'm looking for something simple in a outside barn/garden area in or around the Albany/Saratoga Springs area.
