So... Anyone? What kind of vendor are you? When are you getting married? What's the best part of planning your wedding? What's the worst part about planning your wedding? Anything else? My photog was $500 for 3 hours and the DVD. Granted we are in a really smalll town and no one around here would pay 1000 for pictures. Hope you can find someone that can help you out. With the economy the way it is maybe they are willing to negotiate since the wedding is on a Friday and chances are they wont have a shot at all. She charged me more than that, but if it is a Friday and you only want limited hours, you should talk to her - she's very friendly and started out relatively recently.  Plus, she lives in Cary so it wouldn't be far for her! I took a ton of photo classes in college and most of my peers who were decent at wedding photography still charged $1000 or more.
