But if I were doing it again I would probably use: Mothersbaugh's Cannon from the Royal Tenebaum's soundtrack. We used it as our "walking music" to go up to the alter and in a couple of other places in our ceremony but afterwards I loved it so much I kind of wished I had walked in to it. I am walking down the aisle to my brother playing an accoustic version of #41(my favorite song). If you've ever heard the live version of dave matthews with tim reynolds, it's gonna sound like that. It's a little slower and softer than the album version because it's accoustic. yea!!! When I asked my brother, he immediately started playing it and I swear, tears welled up in my eyes!!! We're also using Water Fountain by David Foster for the unity candle portion (piano) and we're walking about to Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring by Bach. We have two violinist and a pianist to help. I've played in string quartets since I was 10 - so my friends who play in an awesome professional quartet are going to play the ceremony. Since Mr.GV and I both play a lot of contemporary classical music, I'd like to keep it 20th century and later, but I still want the music to sound "pretty" to all the non-new-music-lovers who are there.
