For my "extra" invitations after I ran out of pocketfolds, I just included the actual layered panel invitation, and stacked the inserts on top of it. I held the whole thing together with the same ribbon and seal that closed the pocketfolds. It looked very put-together, and no one knew that there had been pocketfolds in the A-list packages. (also, the "extra" invites were all courtesy invites for overseas relatives, and no pocketfold = lighter = less expensive postage)

this is the nice thing about invitations -- each address gets one and won't ever (likely) see the others you send out! so they don't have to match perfectly.

*definitely* make sure you have a few for keepsakes though!

I might be in the same boat. I'm doing pocket invites and might need 3 or 4 extras so instead of doing the whole invite with pocket and bellyband I'm just printing out the invite on linen cardstock (like the others will be printed) but not including the pocket and bellyband. Most people are used to seeing invites as pretty type on nice paper so it won't be anything out of the norm. that they are already used to.

I think we (bees and knotties) are used to seeing these extravgant invites but we have to remember that most people arn't used to seeing pockets and pocketfold invites.

Hi Sweeney, I think we talked about this on another board, but you can order just 10 pocketfolds on cardsandpocketsstore.com for 98 cents each. So it would be 9.80 plus shipping (minimal). They may not match exactly, but if they're "b" listers, they probably won't be comparing anyway.

As long as you have a copy of the original invite (because you'll want it as a keep sake) I would make easier ones for the B listers. But also, maybe you want to wait until you know if they will be invited or not. No sense making them if they won't be needed.

OKay ladies, what do you think about this?

I need roughly 7-9 more invites, I am making my own at home with purchased pocket folds that only come 25 to a pack for $37.00.

Should I make up an easier, non pocketfold invite for these extra invites, or buy the pocketfolds and go with what I have been doing all along.

The kicker is, these are for extra "b" listers so I may not even send them out....

I'm torn....
