I think it will look amazing to have a hat and you just need to choose one that you are in love with. As for the earrings - get something stunning. I wouldn't do a small pearl, but I wouldn't do a huge earring either. Maybe a smaller dangling earring. I hope we get to see pics of what you have in mind. cjcwomyn3 on "Style questions about headpieces and earrings" http://boards.weddingbee.com/topic/style-questions-about-headpieces-and-earrings#post-65255 Sat, 05 Jul 2008 11:43:18 +0000 cjcwomyn3 65255@http://boards.weddingbee.com/ I have decided not go to go with a veil.  I have fallen in love with little top hats and also cocktail hats.  But I'm not sure if I should have white or colored?  My wed. colors are really anything bright and non-pastel.  I have given my BM's a wide variety to chose from and want them all in dif. colors.  I am having a colored sash on my wed. dress but am waiting to find the hat I want to match the two.  Should I stick with white?  I am kind of a colorful girl and feel that I should go with that...but then get stuck on what color and style of hat?  I've looked at like a hundred!  They are gorgeous and feathery and some have little veils...  I think they would be stunning and unexpected.  But am not sure where to go from just looking at them to buying one!  Help?   Secondly - I have a halter top dress and have decided not to wear a necklace.  However, what about earrings?  If I have this colorful stunning headpiece, do I wear drop earings or stick to like pearl studs?  I don't want to overdo it...I want to be tasteful and also stunning in something prob no one in my fam's seen before!    Did I mention I'm kinda nontraditional...lol?!
