We got married at Oakhurst Country Club in Clarkston. Same amount of guests, its a perfect location for a small wedding with an outdoor ceremony. Hope it helps and best of luck!

I'm doing Cranbrook, but the cost for rental might be a little high to justify for your small guestcount. It's gorgeous though, and might be worth earmarking as a photo location.

Some other outdoors locations that I considered: Garden Park...I forget which city, but it's north, past Clarkston...(really pretty and affordable, just a bit too far for my liking, based on the location I'm from); Henry Ford Museum/Greenfrield, I believe there's also a different Henry Ford mansion?, Crystal Gardens, Meadowbrook in Rochester Hills, MI(again, might be pricey rental wise, but a possible photo op, and if you get married on an off day, they do have discounts), Pine Knob Mansion

Hope that's helpful!

The Grecian Center in Southgate has a beautful park and gazebo for the ceremony and the hall is GORGEOUS!!! Burton Manor, Arnoldo's, and Crystal Gardens are all really pretty.

I'm not getting married in Michigan but back when I thought I might be, I was in love with the wedding venues at Greenfield Village. They have all kinds of venues including outdoor locations. I also have a friend that had her reception at the Dearborn Inn and it was beautiful place with lots of outdoor spaces. There are also historical houses on the property that we were able to use for pictures

Hey Detroit Bees!!

Anyone have good suggestions for a ceremony/reception venue in Metro Detroit. We're trying to keep the cost down by having a small wedding (80 people) and I'd like to keep things simple, yet elegant. Outdoors would be nice, or a location for outdoor photos.

Thanks!
