They were really beautiful! </p> http://boards.weddingbee.com/topic/anyone-doing-an-autumn-morning-wedding-centerpiece-help#post-18445 Wed, 23 Jan 2008 11:36:09 +0000 GetMarried4Less 18445@http://boards.weddingbee.com/ <p>hmmmm.....originally i wanted to do a morning wedding too, but considered the timeline and have pushed mine to noon.</p> <p>&nbsp;i'm getting married November 1st.</p> <p>i thought i had a suggestion for you until you said candlelight is out......even though mine is early we will be doing a mixture of&nbsp;candle centerpieces. the ballroom i will have can be dark with no natural lighting so i think this will work for me......</p> <p>&nbsp;i think the fruit, gourd idea is a good one. i considered that one. i have also considered doing stacked pyramids of apples and pears (or any fruit in your case). with willow branches or some other &quot;dead thing&quot; as they call them sticking out.</p> <p>&nbsp;you could also use pictures. frame pictures of you guys as a couple or whatever you want in&nbsp; simple frames, such as silver, or mahogany. sprinkle petals around them.....</p> <p>&nbsp;hmmmm...what abotu stacking up your favors as cetnerpieces. then it would do double duty? thats all i have for now.....</p> http://boards.weddingbee.com/topic/anyone-doing-an-autumn-morning-wedding-centerpiece-help#post-18439 Wed, 23 Jan 2008 11:24:28 +0000 Punkin325 18439@http://boards.weddingbee.com/ <p>We've decided to get married in the Fall because we love the colors.&nbsp; We're having an outdoor ceremony at 11 am and a Brunch Reception.&nbsp; I absolutely LOVE breakfast, which is why we are doing Brunch.&nbsp; We're having a Waffle Station and an Omlette Station in addition to traditional breakfast and lunch fare on the buffet.&nbsp; </p> <p>The problem I find myself struggling with is centerpiece ideas.&nbsp; I think I've settled on a combination of cornocopias (sp?) spiling with fruit, gourds, and maybe some other thing.&nbsp; I have 9 tables of 10 max and I wanted to do 3 different centerpieces for the 9 total tables.&nbsp; It's a small wedding (75-90) people.&nbsp; </p> <p>Because it's early, candlelight is out.&nbsp; And I didn't want to do the traditional flowers as centerpiece. Finally, the room where the brunch is being held has low &quot;house&quot; ceilings.&nbsp; The reception is being held in the &quot;Carriage House&quot; of a local mansion that is also a Bed &amp; Breakfast.&nbsp; I got the &quot;different&quot; part down, but it comes with lots of extra complications.</p> <p>Any ideas for centerpieces that follow the &quot;Fall in Love&quot;/Autumn theme?</p> <p>Thanks in advance, ladies!</p>
