I had bright pink and orange flowers and my maid of honor wore a coffee-colored dress which I think complimented the flowers without making the dress stand out too much and the colors of the flowers pop.

Their dresses were only $30.! American Beauty is the color and they are be Dessy or After Six. I'll have to check for you. Thanks! They loved them. I'll see if I can get you the link.

For spring time, I say stay with a light color like grey or pale pink.. both would look great with hot pink flowers.

We are going to have grey dresses with our hot pink and purple flowers. Grey will look great on my red haired and my blonde BMs.

I would go with a lighter shade of pink or blue for a summer wedding.  I think dark colors are best for the Fall or Winter.  However, if dark colors are what you're going for and it's an evening summer wedding, than, I say go with the navy blue.  Brown and bright pink look fabulous, but I say leave hte brown dresses for Fall or Winter.   If you want darker colors, how about trying other bright colors, like orange, yellow or green?
