The Vegas side is much more expensive that Austin!</p> http://boards.weddingbee.com/topic/austin-038-sa-budgets#post-484572 Thu, 19 Nov 2009 13:06:26 +0000 cannotwait 484572@http://boards.weddingbee.com/ <p>Even though I'm long married, I am still curious about budgets.&nbsp; When I did a search, before setting our budget, the average Austin budget was $25K-$40K, but I'm guessing that includes more than we included.&nbsp; Anyone else willing to share?</p> <p>Ours was $15K, and we were very close to that, but we did NOT count:</p> <p>engagement ring (DID count bands)</p> <p>honeymoon (minimoon)</p> <p>rehearsal dinner (covered by his parents)</p> <p>undergarments (I will wear these again and didn't go too expensive, plus had a gift certificate)</p> <p>We started w/ a $10K budget, but then my parents gave us $6, and we decided to go with $15K.&nbsp; I know $ is a touchy subject, but I thought it might help other bees!</p>
