Weddingbee Boards Topic: Beer http://boards.weddingbee.com/ Weddingbee Boards Topic: Beer en Mon, 13 Feb 2012 16:21:25 +0000 Mrs. Spring on "Beer" http://boards.weddingbee.com/topic/beer#post-252238 Wed, 08 Jul 2009 09:55:19 +0000 Mrs. Spring 252238@http://boards.weddingbee.com/ @ MissCamera - Well, we didn't want to buy a keg because we thought it'd be wasted and only give our guests one choice.  Instead we bought 2 cases of Corona and Fat Tire, and one case of everything else.  We also had some variety packs of the Smirnoff wine coolers and we provided several variaties of wine, sparkling cider, and champagne.  We did have a lot left over, but we had a little bit of everything, so that was kinda nice.  We weren't planning on returning the over-bought booze anyway. My guests would be very happy!!! We unfortunately can not bring our own beer. We have to order Kegs from them (cheaper then just serving it from the bar) and it is $300+ a keg!!! Since this decision is being left up to my parents I am thinking that one of the kegs will be either a Coors Lite or Miller Lite.  We suggested Yuengling but my Dad disagreed. I think the beer you selected are great choices! A variety of flavors should work. And, when it runs out, it's gone! We might also do a "punch or water" option. We'd have alcoholic punch, non-alcoholic punch, and water. Maybe a couple other drinks. They can order it for you but then they add delivery costs so we're going to get it ourselves. We're having Heinekin and then various wines. I'm also getting my FI a 6 pack of Moose Drool for a surprise/gift. He doesn't drink much beer so I wanted him to have a kind he likes.
