OK, I'll look into adding a "sort" function.

BTW, did you every notice that Classifieds is sorted by date originally posted, while the Boards is sorted by date last commented upon?

sphbride, what do you mean by "sort by subject"? Is that some kind of alphabetical sort of all topics? That doesn't sound too useful to me, so maybe I'm missing something...

PS Bear Bride - link worked fine for me. I'm not sure why you're having trouble - I've never known that to happen unless the link somone posted is too long and it rund off the page.

If people used the "Link" icon (4th from the right), and just typed a word or phrase they wanted to identify the page like:

My Blog

Then highlight it, and while it's highlighted click the icon 4th from the right (link chain)

then inserted the URL in the top box (make sure you've copied the address from it's page already)

you would get this:

My Blog

Thus keeping the links shorter - I've found when they get to long I can't click on them at all.

Just a helpful tip.

I'm not sure if this is of any help - but when you click on "View Your Profile" (upper right corner) it will show you the threads you've started, and and the ones you've responded to - in seperate lists.

Also when they were left, and when the last response to it was.

Maybe it might help until other updates are made :-)

Either way this board is great and I feel very fortunate to have found it!

agreed with the above comments - and one more thing

for some reason EVERY single link that i click on in the boards adds some crap to the end of the URL so it comees up as a weird page! what is up with that. there's tons of suggestions but here's one (the link from Michelle2482)

http://boards.weddingbee.com/topic/quartets

let's see if this link even works!

Being able to search is still different from being able to sort. What if I am just interested in today's new posts? I always feel my posts are "drowned" in no time ... thus depending on the time of posting, I may or may not get as many replies.

When you search, you can click on a "label" that says BOARDS ONLY and that will only show the posts from the Boards. Let me know if that works!

i second that search.. it's hard to have everything from website come up when you only want to search within board. there are prob topics that have been repeated over and over again bc other posts are way back that no one knew about bc they prob don't want to search all the way back. =) i know i had a hard time when i wanted to go back to a specific post and had to sit there for at least an hour going back to previous posts and finally able to find it. so that would definitely help. =)

Hello, I would like to make a suggestion to the weddingbee boards!

I love love the boards and found a lot of posts very helpful and interesting. However with the increasing popularity of the boards, my own posts are almost always squeezed to the second page in no time ... older posts that have new responses will automatically appear first. (I know I know, my posts are probably not as interesting :P)

My suggest is: can we add sorting for the board messages? So that we can

1) sort by date of post

2) sort by last response date

3) sort by subject maybe?

Thank you!
