I have had maybe 3 dreams about my ex over the past few months, and each time when I wake up the morning after I am like "what the H is wrong with me" - I e mailed my best friend about it, and she said it's normal, but its nice to hear more stories, and reassurance that its normal. It freaks me out.</p> <p>It's weird - the ex in question and I broke up over 5 years ago, we don't see each other now or have any contact with each other, and I never think about him while I'm awake.</p> <p>The dreams are generally "unresolved", we run into each other at a party and he acts like he wants to get back together, and then introduces me to his girlfriend or wife, and I am sad/upset. About 90% of the time, they act as advice-givers of sorts. They are usually standing next to me or perched on something nearby, and I am usually speaking either directly to them about something, or they act in sort of a Jiminey cricket type situation. It's very interesting.</p>
