I didn't want to risk having scars before my wedding so I scheduled it AFTER my wedding...and guess what, the place got a NEW esthetician and she was FANTASTIC.</p> <p>I hate getting my acne popped...it is painful! Especially if you've never had one before. Otherwise, if you want to go, I suggest doing it just like other people do hair runs. Go and try it out a few months before the wedding. I started seeing a dermatologist a year before my wedding and she acknowledged that I have sensitve skin and even advised for me never to have a facial outside of her office.&nbsp; Well, we got all these spa certificates for the holidays and I used one for a massage (eh) and went for a facial for very sensitive skin using natural products. They tested an area and had no immediate reaction so I continued.</p> <p>As I was driving away, I could feel my face heating up. It got worse the next day. My face felt like it was on fire. The local pharmacist didn't know what to do. My dermatologist saw me and told me to use cold milk compresses on the face to calm the heat and sting. It just had to go away on its own. Needless to say, I visited the spa and with one look they returned all my money.</p> <p>You know your skin. If not, go to a dermatologist for advice. I definitely see the difference and for my husband, they were nothing short of a miracle. A deep clense facial stopped his cycle of bad skin in its tracks. For me, it definitely made a difference (I have oily/dry combination skin with acne), but I think everyone reacts differently and you might want to do a test run a few months before to see if you like the results.</p> <p>And definitely ask around to find a reputable aesthetician...
