Can I ask... how tall are you? I am 5'3" and I LOVE the gatsby dress but I'm afraid the waist might make me look short but you know what.. I am short! Ha..

It's ivory with pewter accents, it just happens to be a very bright room so it looks white in the pictures.

that's exactly what it was! i loved the color so much that i ended up ordering the maggie i chose in light gold. you can see photos on the petite thread :-)

i was in LOVE with this dress from the photo, but it was one that i had to rule out once i tried it on because i'm 5'2" and the dramatic dropped waist made me look like a dwarf. not sure how tall you are but, if you're short, that's definitely something to think about ;-) here's a cell-phone photo of me in it, so you get an idea of what i'm talking about. for a refernce, my hand is on my hipbone. i don't have a photo of the back because it was a bigger size and was all clamped up. you can see in my face how pissed i was that it wasn't going to work! even though it wasn't right for me, it's still one of my most favorite maggie gowns ever! <img src="http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3454/3889633877_1d3068b0fe_o.jpg" />
