Here's a picture of me in my DBs ivory dress and my husband in his tux with ivory shirt, vest and tie.

Doesn't look dingy at all.

Hope this helps!

I am wearing an ivory dress and chose an ivory shirt for Mr. SR. I don't think that ivory shirts look dingy at all. There was a post about ivory shirts a few months ago, MissRuffles showed us a photo of her husband's ivory shirt http://9ahchick.googlepages.com/non-pro-pics

Good luck :)

Ivory for the men for sure, otherwise your dress will look discolored next to it, especially in pictures. My fiance, all the groomsmen, ushers, and my dad are all wearing ivory shirts with their tuxes. They look very classic and not at all dingy. No one will even notice a difference between them and white, it'll just go with your dress better. If you don't like the selection at a rental shop, you can always buy ivory shirts and rent the rest.

I think a white shirt would be fine, the ivory/cream shirts that I have seen tend to look a little dingy. Hope that helps!

Hi Hive!

I had a quick question! I'm getting married in May and I'm wearing a strapless gown in ivory. This weekend we went shopping for my fiance's suit ( all the groomsmen are wearing medium grey suits) and now my question is does my fiance wear a cream/ivory colored shirt or does he wear a white shirt? Is his shirt supposed to match the color of my dress? Any advice would helpful!

Thanks!
