If you're on a budget, I suggest going to Paperland (google them). It's up in Markham, and they're actually a print shop that does alot of invites. I don't think they design, but they sell the paper and they do the printing. There's not alot of info on the website, so just pop in and get a quote if you have a design in mind. We got our friend to design our invites for us and all we have to do is bring the file to the place, pick the color and they just print it. To save money, we're assembling them ourselves. We got our linen paper 80# (8.5" x 11") there for $0.35 per sheet. For 115 sets of invites with a colored backing, rsvp card, direction card and 2 envelops, along with custom printing on envelops, it came to under $4 per invite. If we didn't want the custom printing on the envelops, it would have been $3 per invite which is pretty good.

The Paper Place on Queen West is fantastic!

Depending on what you're looking for, go to Michaels armed with 40-50% coupons!

Hey I'm not sure if you are still looking for a place to get paper and supplies but you should check out these paper stores around TO:

The Paper Place [Queen West I believe it is around Strachan Ave]

Essence du Papier [Midtown, Yonge just North of Eglinton]

The Papery [Yonge & St Clair]

Also, check your paper for the Michaels ad and use the coupon that is usually in it to buy paper there. I find that they have a pretty good selection depending on what you are looking for.

Any other Torontonian Bees out there? I'm thinking of taking the DIY route for invitations, but where should I go for paper and supplies?
