I'm actually commisioning her to help w/ setup at our wedding. Even though tis great to have a takehome polaroid, I think this (much cheaper)alternative will be just as fun for guests. Added bonus: sillier poses/ more people than you can fit in your regular rental booth! No suggestions to add re: wording. I'm just gushing here. I am planning to put a sign on each table -- maybe on the back of the table numbers, that reads: "Please visit our "Photo Booth" -- the floral backdrop just outside the Inn. Grab some accessories, strike a pose, or just be your beautiful self! We'll send you a copy of your photo(s) after the wedding and make a book filled with pictures of our wonderful guests!" Although, reading the suggestions above, I may edit the last part to indicate that we will put the photos up on the flickr account.  We could still send photos to those who may not be super computer-savvy.   ETA: Also, if you have a dj or MC, you could ask them to make a few announcements throughout your reception, directing guests to the photo booth. Could you get a flickr (or similar) account and share the info with guests, so they could just print photos out themselves? You could have a little card that said the address of the site and the passwords to access it. Paying for an account might be cheaper than sending out photos to people. Maybe you could say - something about a sweet tooth & rhyme it with homemade "photobooth" something about sharing the day and taking the photo their own way... I dunno. my wordsmithing skillz are lacking this morning. If the price of ink and paper are too much for your budget, have you thought of making the photos your favor?  Then you can use that part of your budget for ink and paper, and your guests get a favor they will cherish and keep!  We use an HP photo printer and 8x10 prints cost about 29 cents each, much cheaper than most favors! Anonymous on "Photo Booth Sign Wording" http://boards.weddingbee.com/topic/photo-booth-sign-wording#post-63638 Mon, 30 Jun 2008 12:52:01 +0000 Anonymous 63638@http://boards.weddingbee.com/ I need some assistance with the wording for a sign for our (very low-tech, DIY) photobooth.    The booth will consist of a black backdrop, a basket of props, and a photographer.  Originally, the photographer was to have a polaroid camera for instant gratification of guests, but prices of polaroid seem to be going up and our budget is getting tighter, so we can't justify spending the extra $250 or so on that.  Our solution is to use my digital camera and make a sign saying something to the effect of "Enjoy the photobooth, we'll develop the photos and send them to you after the wedding!" But we need to come up with a little bit fancier/more fun/less stuffy wording for the sign.  Any ideas?   (And as a bonus question... Is that too ghetto?  Would you forego the whole idea if polaroids weren't an option?  We considered using a small photo printer, but the cost of extra ink cartridges plus enough photo paper is another budget buster.)
