I agree. you should send them the cards just so they know how much you appreciate their hard work, and maybe the gift can be a cute surprise for them cause they didn't expect it

What a kind and conscientious bride you are! I'm sure it is because of this that people want to shower you with parties and kindness. Etiquette would state that a proper thank you card should be sent out immediately after a party to thank the hostess for her time and generosity. It is perfectly acceptable for a gift to follow later with a brief note. If you haven't the time to do both though, I'd opt for a thank you note now and then the gift can just come later on its own. It will be off of your mind and you can breathe a little easier. A heartfelt note written along the lines of the first paragraph that you wrote above, is a gift in and of itself.

Hope this helps.

My surprise shower and bachelorette were held nearly a week ago, and I had a wonderful time at both. I am still floored by the amount of time, energy, love, and hard work were put into both parties.

I have ordered my gifts for the shower hostess, my MOH (bachelorette organizer and main contact for the shower hostess), and BM (who helped plan and setup both parties), but their gifts are not scheduled to arrive until the week of 7/13.

I do not want to appear remiss/rude by not sending their thank you because of this delay in shipment, so my question is: Should I go ahead and send their thank-you cards now and send the thank you gifts once I receive them, send their thank-you cards with a mention an upcoming package from me, or should I wait to send their thank you cards until their gifts have arrived?

Again, I don't want to be rude in anyway, and I am a bit stressed because I haven't been able to send their gift & card yet. What is acceptable in these situations?

Thanks in advance!
