When I went to try on my dress for the first time, the bridal store lady laced me up so tight I could NOT sit down. I managed to do some sort of combination of leaning without bending at the waist and falling onto the couch!!! Thankfully, my MOH re-laced me without pretending like she was Mammy and I was Scarlett O'Hara and then it was fine. <img src="http://boards.weddingbee.com/my-plugins/tinymce/jscripts/tiny_mce/plugins/emotions/img/smiley-tongue-out.gif" alt="Tongue out" title="Tongue out" />

@kr13is...your second picture reminds me of the first time I tried on my dress. The consultant gave me a look when I told her I needed to see how it felt sitting down. I was suprised at the number of brides in the shop who tried on multiple dresses without even seeing if they could sit down in them =)

Thanks crebre!! I LOVE it....my FIs sister said that he is going to lose it when he sees me...and that both of us will be a sobbing (but cute) mess at the altar.

Here's my dress...it's a Pronovias India (from 2006). I went looking for an A-line/poofy dress but ended up with a form-fitting trumpet and I love it!!

I love the detail on the bodice of my dress.  And the buttons down the back all have crystals on them which I'm going to have recreated on our cake. :)
