Why not just go to an urdent care facility and ask them to prescribe it? Do you not have insurance? There are ways to get it cheaply if you cannot afford it.

Update: Just wanted to let anyone who might be curious know that I took a test to ease our minds and it was negative. Still no Aunt Flo, though. lol.

I actually switched brands a few years ago and started the new pack maybe half way through my other pack. I completely skipped my period that month and maybe the one after, and ever since then I still start about 2 days after I'm supposed to. Which is weird, but I'm used to it so it works.

I'm not worried about really starting another set of BC, since it makes it hard for me to lose weight. I'm still deciding what I want to do there.

I was just wonder what ou ladies experienced when switching or coming off. It's weird to have a period just vanish! lol. I took the pill very religously and we always used condoms with it. haha. I will test in the next couple days if I don't start.

Hope I do, though, since these cramps suck!

I just wanted to second what everyone else is saying- pp will hook you up in portland for little or no cost... they always did for me. Also it might not be a bad idea to take a preggo test so that you don't need to worry so much. Hope it all works out alright!

birth control stops working once you've missed two pills so definately use a back up if you do not desire pregnancy at this time!

Just wanted to chime in, I lived in Portland for four years and LOVED going to Planned Parenthood! Oregon provides free birth control and annual exams for all women up to age 27, regardless of income. If you're over 27, they will definitely provide bc at an extremely reduced cost or free if you qualify.

I loved the PP on NE 14th, near MLK! There's also another on SE 50th - just check out their website for more locations!

PS Every time I've gone off of or switched bc, my periods have vanished or popped up unexpectedly for the first month or two. Hope that helps.

I was going to say, Planned Parenthood can take care of you in Oregon. Get to them now and don't wait for your benefits to kick in. They'll give you low/no cost care... Thank goodness for organizations like theirs!

You can get really cheap pregnancy tests at Target or Dollar Tree too, if you just want to make sure right away...

PS- Portland has PP's too. Washington state has different programs (granted) but P-town will have similar where everything may not be free but at low cost.
