I had hydrangeas and they were just fine! I did get married in March though...

I'm doing blue (more of a teal, but still blue) and I'm doing sunset shades for my flowers - oranges, yellows, deep pinks. I just love how bold colors pop against a blue background. I think, personally, that too much blue gets lost in translation and that to contrast it with a brighter color really brings out the depth of the color blue, which can sometimes be overlooked if the color is too saturated.

I'm going to be doing my own flowers, and have to get them the day before, so hydrangea is out of the question. I definitely agree on the wilting thing, especially in the heat.

My colors are blue and white, with touches of yellow. My bouquet will be blue and white, and I'm using delphiniums for blue along with peonies, roses and lisianthus for white. They all hold up pretty well.

The picture I'm attaching is from my own practice run a few weeks ago.

Our colors are mermaid (aqua) and truffle (deep brown) and I'm using orange and yellow bi-color roses for the bridesmaids' bouquets. I am still debating what color my bouquet will be. I liked the idea of a classic white bouquet, but I want some color in my bouquet. A fellow bee posted a photo of her bouquets paired with aqua dresses and it's gorgeous! I'm using it as my inspiration.

We used hydrangeas in our centerpieces and my bouquet and they held up beautifully. It was about 94 degrees outside. Granted, my bouquet was only out of the water for about 30 minutes, but there wasn't any wilting or browning. I've attached a few photos.
