If you're not in a hurry and have some time to shop around try refreshing your search every 12 hours or so, sometimes the fares drop significantly from day to day! You can't book on Kayak though; but they search all of the sites you've listed; then send you directly to the flight you requested. I usually find that the airlines themselves book the flights for about $10-15 cheaper than any of the other sites, so I book directly. J usually books through CheapTickets though, and we've been thrilled with their customer service.
