I love the bee because it's personal and everyone is here to help one another and to give advice or kudos for a job well done! These are real people and you can tell they are. And they actually talk about weddings! I feel like I have friends here that i can share my wedding worries or dreams with. Thank you Mrs. Bee and Mr. Bee and all the worker Bees!! :)

I am pretty late to this, but I want to list my own reasons.

The diversity is wonderful. Different brides, different backgrounds, different cultures, different budgets, different senses of style...

The sense of community. I never got into the knot (weddingbee immediately became my one stop shop!), but I know that almost any other blog (even outside of weddings) can be very negative and snarky. I love that the bees and readers are so kind and helpful, and honest! :)

The amount of information (see diversity- above) is unbelievable. I never go anywhere else for info, as this site has more than I could ever want!

Mrs. Bee, Pengy, Mr. Bee and Bil Bee are so passionate about weddingbee, and really care about all of us. :)

I heart WeddingBee because of the interesting and inspiring content, caring people and fun atmosphere. The only regret I have is not finding the site sooner so I missed the opportunity to apply to be a bee myself!

Thanks to everyone for being so amazing! *hugs*

I love everything WeddingBee has thought me - I didn't even know what a Gocco was before WeddingBee and now I own one :)
I love all the inspiration and how it gives me ideas I would never have thought of.
I also love how nice and encouraging everyone is, it is a great place for advise.

What makes WeddingBee unique:

1) Following "Bees" through their wedding planning. It's much more engaging than simply seeing random inspirational ideas. I also like how varied the weddings and individuals are. It's also nice that all aspects of the wedding planning and events are covered, not just big style items (dresses, invitations, flowers, and photography). I love seeing the failed DIY's, the showers, the ceremony readings, and all the other real-life aspects.

2) Supportive "Behive" with lots of advice and creativity, but less emotional baggage and snarkiness.

Seriously, I NEVER thought that I would hang around wedding sites after I was married! But I still keep WeddingBee on my reader list! But it's the only site I come back to post-wedding. While I was planning my wedding, I was an avid reader of Style Me Pretty - but I lost interest near my wedding (since my "concept planning" was over) and haven't been back since I was married. And frankly, seeing all the beautiful, seemingly perfect weddings stung a little after having my own wedding that seemed to not "stack up." My local Knot board was invaluable when I was a bride, because of the supportive brides who could answer questions about specific vendors, etc. My local bee board (Portland, OR) never really caught on - probably because the one on the knot was so good.

I love Weddingbee because it lets me see varying styles and tastes that all come together in their own ways. It gives me ideas and inspirations, without trying to sell me anything. I love the combination of personalities and the community. I feel like I know the the Bees personally, and it's so much more fun to share the planning with others in the same boat!

I first discovered weddingbee after being engaged, and it changed by perspective of weddings. With two sisters already married, I had this idea of having to comform to a traditional wedding. Weddingbee opened my eyes to the variety of weddings out there and the creativity behind each bride. I absolutely fell in love with the community of bees and how helpful everyone is. I love the organization of the site and the ease to find information on topics such as save the dates and floral arrangements. The site inspires me to be more creative and to think outside of the box. I learn a lot everyday by keeping up with the site, and I am very grateful to have this resource for my own planning. I am a bit timid to post in the boards, but hopefully I can open up more and contribute to this wonderful community. Thanks Bee for all your hard work! Thanks to the bees for being so inspirational and amazing!

i like following the process of wedding planning. it's nice to see new ideas, how some things work and other don't and why it worked or didn't and so forth. it's been a great resource for me while helping to plan my friend's wedding!

that said, i also like how inviting the site is. you welcome everyone, even those of us [like me] who aren't engaged yet.

There's about a ton of reasons why I do... but mostly because it's helping me!!! I am so lost as is but seeing other bride's journey's until they walk down the isle is calming =)

Thank you so much!
