I am 7 months pregnant and look like I should be delivering today. Yes I get it, but this is my second child and I can't help the way I am carrying. Nonetheless, I have wanted to punch several people in the face for the remarks and questions I have had the pleasure of witnessing. Here is a short list.

1. You look tired. (thanks MIL! so do you, but I keep quite)

2. Geez do you have twins in there? (I may kill you)

3. How are you feeling? (I hate this question because I am asked it 100x a day. It seems to be everyones go to question)

What are your least favorites?

How did your lease work? I know that the buying a home process can vary widely as far as timeline, so how did you handle your lease?

Right now, our lease ends in June, we'll rent for at least one more year (possibly two), and I know they aren't very flexible on extending it. My worry is that if we started looking and wanted to move during the summer, what happens if say, we can't get into a house until August? How did you other renter -> owners handle this? Did you have to pay out the rest of your lease, did they cut you a deal?

We spent this past weekend down at our venue, making arrangements and seeing things for the first time. It was a truly amazing trip. We got a lot accomplished, and I am over the moon for my venue and the staff there.

On the way home, we decided to stop off at an outlet mall and do some shopping. We ended up going into Zales to browse. I never in a million years thought I'd be leaving there with a bridal set. But, I did!

I wasn't in the store five minutes before I'd spotted my dream set. It was so beautiful! So, FMIL and the sales guy suggested I apply for credit to see if I could get approved for the ring. I didn't think I would get approved, at least not for as much as I needed. When the salesman came back and told me I could take that set home, I nearly jumped through the roof! I was trying to contain myself and not scream!

This is my new baby (not the greatest picture):

So I decided to make my own bouquets using Gerber daisies in pink, white, and pale yellow. They turned out like this:

I love gerber daisies, they're so happy and playful not to mention really inexpensive!

I've always loved the super soft feminine look of peony and rose bouquets, today while I was at michaels I started playing with the flowers (this is why I should NOT be allowed in craft stores alone, I could stay there all day!) and I put together some soft pink peonies and ivory roses. It was so frilly and girly! Then I got the idea in my head of "I only get to have a wedding once, I should get what I really like". Am I being ridiculous? What do you ladies think? Here's an inspiration pic of the other flowers:

http://pinterest.com/pin/210402613810714184/

I've already bought the daisies and I've made the BM bouquets. I've probably spent about $35 on the flowers so far. It would probably look silly if I did the BM bouquets in daisies and mine in peonies wouldn't it?

So, BF's been acting weird this past weekend... He wanted to forgo the Movies ( he's a die hard movie buff - so this was weird) to sit at his home and have "pillow talk"... he asked me what I thought about children and where I'd want to live and what I think about him?!?! What's funny is that we talk all the time... about everything and nothing... I try to stay clear of wedding/engagement stuff so that he doesnt feel pressured but this was weird because of the way he approached the entire conversation and the topics he wanted to broach... I responded (with the right answers i hope) and we laughed and cracked jokes after the "heavy topics" were out the way. The next day I sent him a text to say I was thinking about him and that I enjoyed our " chat"... He responded by saying that he was trying to be a better friend and man.. so that I would be happy with him... Huh??

That's where I was thrown for a loop... I've never indicated that I wasnt happy with him... He's such a sweet guy, he tells me he loves me all the time, treats me like a princess and keeps me smiling... So I have no clue why he would say that. I did make it clear to him at the end of 2011 that I would not date him for too much longer without progressing in our relationship - because I was not going to just "date" him in 2012. But that's all Ive said. He said that he knows what he needs to do... So, valentines day is tomorrow so i am going crazy cause he's acting weird... I am NOT a fan of V-day. You need to love me everyday not just one day.

Here's the question... For those engaged ladies... what signs did your men give off before they popped the question?

Hi! I just fell in love with sky lanterns! They're from Asia... I forget where. And they're featured inthe Disney rapunzel movie, Twisted. They're also called wish lanterns, and wedding lanterns. Anyway I was thinking of getting them for my wedding night "send off" I would probably get 40 or so, and I think they would look so cool!

Has anyone seen this in real life, or used them?

Thanks!

Hello Bees! It's my first time posting on here, so I hope everything shows up correctly! I am SO EXCITED! because I bought the dress and it's being shipped to our house as we speak!

Originally I bought the jCrew Principessa gown in silk. I love it. I loved it! But recently I had some reservations about the fabric I had chosen, because they also make it in lace and organza - which is not only beautiful... but costs 1K less. I had been questioning my decision for a while for not getting the dress with the lace and organza - the lace and organza seems more bridal and fairy-like... softer to me. So, I finally did it and exchanged the silk Prinicpessa gown for the lace and organza Principessa! *shrieks*

This is the dress that I'm getting and am super excited about!!! I'll post pictures of me in it when I get it

This is the dress I returned - which is basically the same thing except without lace and organza...:

I feel like 98% of the dresses I've seen are strapless and I really have no interest in wearing a strapless dress and pulling it up all night! I'd love to see some examples of fellow brides/brides-to-be in their non-strappless dresses!!

Please include designer/dress name or style # if possible

Am I reading her the wrong way when she says certain things regarding our rings? 3 scenarios that happened with her...

1) Her and her husband were married a year and a half by the time my now husband and I got engaged. We were engaged right before new years. I knew the engagement was coming...so did everyone else. We just were not sure exactly when. Now, my friends engagement ring center stone was a half carat princess cut. Magically, two weeks before we got engaged, she had her stone upgraded to a 1ct. On the year and a half mark, seems like a odd time. My center stone is a 1ct. When we were with all of our friends on New years, you'd think she'd let me have my moment and show off my new bling. Nope, she had to go around and show off her new stone. Nice.

2). People will always comment on my ring at work and we happen to work together. On the occasions that they comment on hers, she will gladly talk up (in front of me) how happy she is with her princess cut stone before she hates round diamonds (which is what I have). It's ok to not like a certain stone but to comment on it in front of someone that has it?

3) I'm very picky so I was very specific with my husband on what I wanted and we even did some shopping together. Her and her husband did none of it and she always makes crude comments in front of me how her husband picked it out himself and that I should like anything he picks out for me. But she always makes me feel like I was rude for giving my husband specifics

Does anyone else have a friend that is or has tried to one-up you with a ring or downplay yours? Am I thinking too much into her actions?

Help Bees!

I am very bad at putting together themes and such but I think that I have been drawn to an old holywood glam theme based on photos I have seen online and their descriptions (if this is incorrect based on the photos below please let me know!). I have not made any concrete decisions for decor for my wedding and I am just now getting around to picking bridesmaids dresses. The only thing I HAVE done is put a downpayment on my dress

Do you think that if I wanted to go with an old hollywood glam theme that this dress would work (this is the dress that I ordered)?

And I noticed that I am liking dresses similar to these for bridesmaids.

And I liked this for centerpieces

FYI I have been eyeballing this dress, do you think it would work better with the theme?
