My dream car: Volkswagen TDI
Why I hate my current car? Simply because it's not my dream! Haha. It's a good car considerng how old it is and the mileage on it now. I hate the color, but I call her Goldie Hawn. It was a good deal at the time that I bought it so I really can't complain.

I drove a 1999 Toyota Tacoma for 10 years and I have always wanted an SUV. A month ago my hubby got me a 2011 Kia Sorento and I am loving it! My absolute dream car is a Range Rover.

@MrsRuby: OMG! Awesome!!!! I've wanted one since I was in middle school! I will also own one! My goal is by the time I'm 30. My SO and I go to a lot of car shows and I notice that the majority of the owners are older.. I want to enjoy my car!

This is Squishy, my Platinum Grey 2007 Volkswagen Jetta. I LOVE it, there's nothing that I dislike.
My dream car is a black on black BMW M3. I have an unhealthy obsession with M3s. The one in the picture is a coupe, but I'd want a sedan.
@cherrydoll: I know it! same here..... there was a cherry red and white one at a car show this weekend. Its the background on my phone HAHAHA. I dunno why but im just totally in love with them. DH says he can totally picture me driving one haha. I found one on DL the other day for $8,500 just needed a new paint job but the inside was immaculate!

HAHAHAHA its an inside joke between one of my best friends and I .... Shes super girly, totally loves anything with bling and I always tease her that no car will be her fave until she has that one haha.

Dream Car -
Chevy Equinox. We rented one of these and I fell in LOVE.
My is my 2001 Mercury Cougar. I seriously love her! I got her used with 22,000 miles and have had her for three years. She has about 50,000 miles on her and I just love her!
My dream car would be a Scion XD. I love that it is a four door and I think the body is absolutely adorable. When we think about having children, I will definitely probably by this baby but until then, my car is perfect.
@MissPumpkinPie: I saw this and I had to laugh. My old car, as of September 1st, was a 2001 Pontiac Grand Am GT, much like your car. My current car is a 2011 Jetta TDI. I don't have the wagon, but I LOVE my new Jetta. I highly recommend it to anyone. I had no idea there were others out there like me who were in a grand am, but were dreaming of a TDI.

I own a 1991 Buick Lesabre. I couldnt find a picture of my own car so I pulled a pic from the internet. The one that I have has a red interior inside instead of light blue. Ladies, from what I heard about the first car and the first owner changed up what he wanted and specially ordered it from the factory, boy I wish I owned the car then. VERY nice car. So much room, perfect for a road trip!! Drove to Tennesse and Texas with it.
And below is one of the cars I wouldnt mind having later.

My current car is a 2010 Honda Civic that I just adore. He's my first new car ever (my previous was a like new hand me down) and the only thing I'd change would be to add a keyless trunk entry button on the key. First world problem, I know. LOL

Yeah okay... so I have my dream car, just not in my dream color(s). I like Cavaliers. I'm really disappointed that 2005 is the last year they made them. And DON'T TELL ME A COBALT IS THE SAME THING!
@cherrydoll: i worked at infiniti for 5 years, i could tell you horror stories, as well as nice ones.
My car is a 2008 Saturn Aura XR and it pretty much is my dream car. I obsessed over it until I bought it. I think I want a Crossover next, for more room and to get higher up off the ground!! :) Maybe an Equinox or something...
and FI JUST got a 2008 Toyota Tundra...
We love it...and are both currently driving our dream vehicles!! :)
@rosworms: Just want you to know...FI wants to be your best friend now. Lol. He has a 1998 Cavalier that he's "tricked out" so to speak. He now has a Chevy Silverado that he got a few weeks ago, but Sweet Pea (cav) is his baby. I don't think he'll ever get rid of it. haha.
Anyways.
Current car: (This isn't mine, it's a pic off the internet. The only ones I have of my car are close ups of me in it when I got it.) I have a 2004 Toyota Solara Coupe. I love her, though she has gotten me many speeding tickets. Why did I get a V6 with a lead foot?

What We Have:
2007 Civic Hybrid
We got it when DH totaled his Moutanieer in a snow storm last winter- I told him to let me drive but he was too stubborn. Now I have to shuttle him around when there's the threat of ice because he's too scared. Normally get's great (41 on average) gas milage.
What especially DH would like as a dream car:
A 1940 Dodge or there abouts. A friend of ours is a collector of antique autos and he drives one like this around on Sundays, DH wouldn't mind a 50s-60s muscle car or a Pheaton v16 either (I think it would be too "much")
What I especially want

I was sorta cheesin' because this was when he drove it up to my work for my birthday (I had no prior knowledge I was getting a "new" car! haha.
So...I think we're okay on the cars. Hubby wants an upgrade to a shelby cobra, tho.
You gals posting the vintage... i love you. *drool* lol And the Bugatti... oh my, i looooooove that car. Currently I drive a late 90s Audi A8 and a 96 Buick Roadmaster Wagon. They're both a bit worn, but I love them both. Just hard to find the time to really work on the beasts. The Audi is a pricey whore inciting a love/hate relationship. It's the man's car. Dream car? 55, 56, & 57 Bel Airs. Same year Nomads. 49 fleetline. 51 Mercury. Late 30s chevy anything. 68 mustang(my only guilty ford pleasure- after dropping a chevy in it.). Audi R8. Bugatti veyron ss. Pre-1974 Suburban. Uhm, I could keep going. I need a 5 acre garage.
My current car is pretty awesome really: An 06 Pruis. It was my moms till she got a new car and decided since it was almost paid off anyway to give it to me. :D It is the old version and pretty crazy looking. But I love 45-60 MPG :D Even if some jerk backed into me and left a dent in my bumper without a note. :/
I have several dream cars. First: A Nissian Leaf cause who doesn't want to drive the space car?!?! It is all electric!!
That or a Chevy Equinox. They are a great mix of SUV without being giant. Though I bet my gas bill would go up!
FI is convinced that whenI graduate and get a job we need a motorcycle though. That would be his dream car.
@cherrydoll: well the horror mostly comes from people not taking care of their vehicles. like someone who only changes the oil once in 30k miles and expects us to pay 10 grand for a new engine.
@kitcat12: FI's grandfather has a 1936 Ford... That awesome red/orange color. It is to DIE for!! With the backseat that folds out and all that. FI's whole family (the men anyway) are huge car junkies. It's starting to rub off on me, but I had always wanted a late-60s Camaro. And I do quite like the late-60s Mustangs.
