Announcing our wedding! Yay!

On September 6, 2008 we got married in Red Wing, Minnesota - my hometown. The ceremony was held at my family's vineyard and winery and we then moved to the historic St. James Hotel in downtown Red Wing for the reception.  We had a wonderful time with all our friends and family there and the dance floor wasn't empty a single moment until the last song was played. Even then, everyone moved across the hotel to the hotel's pub and stayed another two hours until closing time there as well! The colors were a sagey green with brown accents and red/orange accents here and there. 

Austin and I met our freshman year of college at Iowa State University where we lived in the same dorm and we stayed in touch(Go Cyclones!), but didn't actually start dating until about 3 years later. He proposed on Christmas Eve of 2006 and we finally got married slightly under 2 years later! We now have bought our own house and have two great kittens, Linus and Lucy.
