I’ve been trolling this site for months now trying to figure out what cut / size / color / etc. I want, and my bf and I are finally moving forward with a ring! Henri Daussi halo but diamond we bought online (WAY cheaper!). BUT I just found this ring simulator that’s incredibly helpful and wanted to share. Wish I’d found it earlier, although I did put in my exact diamond dimensions and then plussed it up for a halo to see how big it would be – not posted below 🙂
Hopefully this link works:
It allows you to change the cut, size, your finger size, color/width of band. So cool!

Sweet! I’ve been wondering if there’s anything like this out there! It’s kinda too soon for me to be trying it, but what the heck 😛

@emc05: It’s neat to see the different sizes on my big ol’ finger. 🙂

@emc05: This is a great tool! I have a 1.65ct cushion and it’s almost exactly the measurements on here, and it looks pretty much identical when I adjust the ring-size to be a 5.75 so I can attest to it’s accuracy! It’s cool that you can even add the depth (my stone is on the deep side of excellent cut, and it’s cool to see the actual explanations for the specific stone in one place instead of googling every dimension.)

@emc05: oh my gosh, this is great! thanks for sharing.. could have used this for my first diamond purchase, but definitely comes in handy for choosing the size of my upgrade!!!

It is incorrect. I programmed in my specs and the stone appears smaller than in reality.

I like it. Thanks for posting!

Oh wow, what a neat site! Wish I’d known about this a long time ago too.
