Wow, so exciting!!! I am sure that you'll have lots of things to think about on your wedding day aside from the pin-pain. But if you're worried, is there any way to modify (not completely change) the 'do so it doesn't hurt?
Congratulations on your upcoming wedding!

Sorry, there are no users yet.
I'm so excited and nervous! I haven't posted in a few days and I've missed my friends here at the Bee Boards!
Saturday I had my 'practice' updo - it took her 2 hours (I have naturally curly hair so she had to straighten it all out first) and about 50 super-grip bobby pins, and voila! It looked beautiful, and it didn't hurt at first, but after about 6 hours it was KILLING my head! EEK! So during the movie (new moon) I had to take half of those pins out because it hurt so bad I couldn't concentrate! I woke up Sun morning with a SPLITTING headache which I think was updo induced lol.
I'm hoping I won't notice on the wedding day ;)
(Sorry I don't have pics yet. I will definately post a link to pics sometime soon, but probably not till after the wedding.)
