Sorry, this isn’t a wedding related question!
My cousin committed suicide last year. The anniversary is next week. I want to have a gift sent to my aunt. She has been a wonderful support for me in another issue, while she mourned for her son, she helped me a ton through a horrific process.
I want to show sympathy, while acknowledging her awesomeness. I was thinking non-traditional, like tea and honey, or a plant, or fruit. Flowers just die and I hate commercial roses with all the pesticides and stuff in them, unless they are organically grown.
By The Way, she is fostering 3 kids right now whose parents couldn’t care less about them. And her own son is gone 🙁 Just giving you an idea of how kind and wonderful she is. She lives 1000 miles away so visiting her won’t be possible. A gift delivered would be best.
Something consumable is preferred. A knick knack for her shelf seems like it won’t nourish her the same way.
PLEEEEASE HELP! Anyone who lost a relative, what would you have wanted on the 1 year anniversary? Thanks a bunch!
