Weddingbee boards

Oh, geesh, I have so much stuff to do, I don't even know where to begin.  Had the day off from work today, so I knocked out a bunch of my table runners that I've been procrastinating on (9 down, 5 to go).  Programs are going to take awhile, since I'm doing them with my Cricut, but considering we don't even have an officent yet (I MAY have one after this weekend- talked to one of my friends who is licensed and he said that schedule pending he'd love to do it, but will have to meet up with him to discuss details) need to hold off on that until we discuss what we're even doing for the ceremony.  Plus at this point I have no clue on how many people are coming (we invited 87, have gotten 13 "yes" and 3 "no" so far) so I don't want to waste my time and money over-doing something when in reality we're probably not going to have many people attend our wedding =( 

Other DIY projects that I need to do before the big day: Tissue paper pomanders (going to order the tissue paper online tonight), menus (we need to finalize what we're even eating before that can happen), escort cards, signs, table numbers... I know I have more that I've signed up for, but can't remember at the moment. 

@ForeverYoung: You've already got 40 RSVP's back?  I'm jealous.  My invitations have almost been out for a month now (they went out on August 2nd- wanted to get them out a bit early since I never did formal "Save the Dates", but just told people via word of mouth, and a facebook invite) and so far I've gotten a grand total of 2 "proper" RSVPs- so far we only have 13 people attendending, and a good chunk of that includes our wedding party and immediate family.  It's really heartbreaking, since we've gotten a couple of 'no's from people we really wanted to be there, including one of my FI's family who is a wedding planner, and even though she's know about our wedding for 9 months now, has decided not to come because she working a wedding the night before.  Rather irked that the weddings of strangers are more important then the wedding of a family member. 

Gotten another 2 table runners done today.  I've had this project since May, and I've cranked out more in the past two days then I did in the past 3 months. 

@ForeverYoung: I did my RSVPs via computer, and I still have hardly gotten anything back.  Almost all of our friends and family are pretty computer saavy so I used the RSVP system that Wedding Channel offers (I have a wedding website through them, and have my guestlist as well there, so it all integrates- so as soon as someone RSVPs I get an email, and assuming they spelled their name right, I don't have to do anything, since it updates the list automatically, but I always double check).  I also included our phone number, just in case the online system was down, or if they didn't feel comfortable RSVPing online.  Personally, I know I can't be bothered to drop something in the mail, even if it's already pre-stamped, but if I can do it online- no problem (which is why I pay all of my bills online- if I had to write checks and mail them, they would never get paid). 

Baby PebbleS, don't worry about your dress! I'm sure it's beautiful and you are gonna look fabulous!   It is so funny to hear how differently everyone is handling the same wedding date =)

My rsvps were due June 10th due to the fact that everyone was from out of town and I wanted my family members to commit to coming.  I did get some nos, but most were yesses, and I only got about 6 late responses (last rsvp arrived this week even though, again, I asked for rsvp by June 10th)

Anyone else stressing about where out of town guests are going to stay? I set aside rooms at 3 reasonably priced hotels and only 4 guests have confirmed reservations out of nearly 80 guests.  Should I be worried?

I am reading all of your messages and starting to freak out, like, do I really need to print out a menu?  I swear, every day I think of something else I need to do!  I am getting married on 10/9 and I am beginning to get a bit panicky about the things I might have missed!  We are trying to plan a brunch for the day after but that's proving to be difficult cuz we don't know who is staying, etc.

Any advice bees??

that's how i feel as well!  we are getting married at my friend's house in a tent at the Cape and am at a loss as to how to go about planning eggs and bagels!
