Yay, so glad you get to spend the holidays together. That makes it extra special. Make sure to get lots of pics, then you can make him (and yourself) a special scrapbook once he gets home to remember his stay

I feel you on the distance - we're doing East Asia to America too! No Christmas together, but January 1 I hit the ground for 7 weeks of 'us' time ... well, 'us in his daily life' time anyway, haha.
It's been since early July for us too :)

Hi all! I'm so glad I found this board, I hope it will be a good place for me to hang out with others going through the same thing.
I'm currently nine months into a 2 years stay in Japan, while my FI resides in the US. I was able to go home for August, but haven't seen him since. I now have only ten days left until he comes out to visit me for Christmas and New Years! Obviously, I'm super excited! The best thing is that I've also made flight reservations to go home for a good chunk of February and March, so I have a lot to look forward to now! Just had to share!
